Almost primitive---but has full hook-ups---only $15.00 a night! Very peaceful and quiet----can feel very safe!! Has the city swimming pool right next door which leave their doors open for the bathrooms and showers for campers who do not have them or for those in tents. Can go over a walking bridge and find a beautiful park with all kinds of playground equipment for children. Also is within walking distance to the Rodeo Grounds, Can stay as long as you want. No time limit to be out!!

This is actually one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. The camp hostess Jane is a sweetheart.The bathrooms are part of the outdoor swimming pool. They are very clean with nice changing room and very nice showers and open around the clock. It also has a mini golf course next to the pool. So, lots to do. Except for the train which made us feel right at home, it is very quite. I am sorry that we must leave today, but we are going to try and stay here on our way back thru.
Nice, quiet and small campground. Camp hosts Jane and Gary were wonderful! Made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a charming little CG - right next to a beautiful Day Use Park. The Camp host - Jane greeted us warmly with helpful information and welcome. It's a bit tricky to find (Jane agrees) but the residents of the small town of Velva - are VERY helpful once they notice you wandering around (you could always ask as well) . . Highly recommend especially if you want/need to be in Minot for anything.
